Welcome to the Allensville United Methodist Church website. We hope that as you explore our website you will discover a community with Christ at its center that seeks to grow in faith as we learn how to better love God and our neighbor. If you have questions, please call the church office at 336-599-2820. We invite you to come and join us!

What To Expect
What should I expect?
*expect to be warmly welcomed
*expect to see people enjoying being together, laughing and talking
*expect to be in a place where you can worship God with others
*expect to see your neighbors
*expect to hear the Word of God preached and taught
Parking
Parking is pretty easy. We have a convenient, onsite parking lot. There are handicap spaces located near the church and provide a short walk to our worship space. The sanctuary is handicap accessible.
Dress
You will see most of the church’s members wearing suits and ties, slacks and button downs, and dresses. Your presence will be celebrated no matter what you wear. We care about the heart, not your clothes.
Our church is a Scent Free Zone, so in order to make our worship space more accessible and to extend hospitality to all, we ask you to please avoid wearing perfume, cologne, aftershave and other fragrances to worship. Thank you for your consideration.
Sunday School
There is an adult Sunday School class every Sunday at about 11am after worship. More information is available under the Get Connected tab.

Becoming A Member
Membership at Allensville UMC and in the United Methodist Church is both a declaration of faith in Christ Jesus and an affirmation of your desire to grow in faith and commitment along with the others members of this church community. We gather from a variety of faith backgrounds united in the understanding that God is calling us together to be of one heart and action in this time and place.
If you are interested in becoming a member or have questions about membership at Allensville UMC, please contact Pastor Rod.
You can become a member by…
…Profession of Faith and Baptism
If you have never been baptized as a Christian, we would be happy to meet with you to discuss the meaning of Baptism and membership.
…Transfer from another United Methodist Church
If you are currently a member at another United Methodist Church and would like to transfer that membership to Allensville UMC, be in touch with Pastor Rod. He would be happy to write your letter of transfer and set a date when we might welcome you into this community during worship.
…Transfer from another Christian Denomination
The process is very much like that of transferring from another United Methodist Church. You will be asked to take the one vow taken by all members of the United Methodist Church: “Will you be loyal to this church (Allensville UMC) and to the United Methodist Church and uphold it by your prayers, your presence, your gifts, your service, and witness?”
